About the Book

Holistic skin is in is about all the natural and holistic ways to attain beautiful skin. I wrote this book to reveal to you the secrets of healthy and beautiful skin and to help you understand how the skin works, why it looks the way it does and what you can do to improve it, regardless of your age.

Holistic skin is in adopts a clear, logical, scientific, yet simple and easy to understand, question and answer-approach. It is a sincere attempt to explore, comprehensively, all the topically applied, natural, highly effective skin care ingredients, preparations and therapies that restore, revitalize, energize, moisturize, hydrate, soften, firm, improve, nourish and tone the skin; i.e., keep the skin holistic.

Due to the unique characteristics of specific parts of the body, specific skin care techniques and products are required for their treatments. Such customized care, as that for the lips, eyes, hair, nails and hands, is thoroughly discussed. Another section of the book covers a detailed discussion of the varied natural ways to protect the skin from damaging sunrays and harsh weather, and when traveling. A list of the different preventive therapies for specific skin types and conditions is another major chapter of the book. All these topics are directly related to external skin care and all share one basic issue: caring for the skin naturally.
