MY AMERICA THE DISNEY EXPERIENCE
I am proud to be an American.
Wherever I go I shall let everyone know.
All through the states I will stroll.
Over our highways I shall roll.
Wherever I go, I am proud to be an American.
I may not be rich, but freedom I see.
Love for my country is part of me.
I see people hand in hand all proud of their
land.
Together when necessary they will take a stand.
This country is the greatest of all the lands.
I am proud to be an American.
As I stand and salute my flag tears of joy drip
from my eyes.
Our flag waves high as it is passing by.
I am proud to be an American no country is so
free.
As this sweet land of liberty
No country holds such mighty dreams.
Our freedom is the beauty of our land.
As we sing the songs of freedom
We lift up our hands and say our prayers.
Our love for man is never ending.
Children singing throughout the land
I am proud to be an American.
I went to Disney to see the tree.
It was fun for everyone.
I came home with a great big bun.
I liked the park.
It looks like a work of art.
Lots to see.
There is a fee.
It is worth it to me.
I liked the tree.
Animals all around it
I see them at the safari walking on the ground.
Some were colored brown some were shaped
round.
Colors and shapes abound.
Went on rides.
Ate the food.
Hated to leave.
Found it hard to believe.
The Disney I see.
It was an experience for me.
See Disney and have fun, it will make you a
happy one.
This Disney experience is for me.

About the Author
I have completed courses at the Institute for Children’s Literature and the Writer’s Digest School. I have taken creative writing and hold a Masters Certificate. I was a substitute teacher for over ten years and work with Junior Achievement. I do school readings as a professional actor, S.A.G. My life has been a challenge and I accomplished most of my life goals. I am married, have three children, and three grandchildren. I have been an environmentalist for over thirty years, and won many awards. I presently work for the Walt Disney Company.
