The body is exposed daily to environmental chemicals and pollution. Diets contain additives, food coloring and flavoring to enhance the taste. Drinking water is filled with chemicals, as a result the body can acquire toxins followed by an illness. My Body, My Temple is a beginner’s guide to detoxifying, rebuilding and maintaining a healthy body.
About the Author
Carol K. Thierer-Prill graduated from Goshen College, Goshen, Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in science in nursing in 1963, working as a registered nurse in Illinois and Indiana in the areas of pediatrics, geriatrics, public health and home health. From 1973-1983 she taught in the School of Nursing at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. In 1980 she earned a master’s degree in education and counseling from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. She had held administrative positions in the area of child abuse prevention and home health. She taught nutrition at Life Path School of Massage Therapy. In 1995, she started her own business providing colon hydrotherapy, nutrition and herbal counseling. She is a Nationally Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, a certified natural health professional from Trinity College of Natural Health in Warsaw, Indiana and is currently completing a Doctor of Naturopathy degree.
