Adam Burr, a young medical doctor, enlisted in the military and was impressed into war. There, in wilderness terrain, he became a respected leader and eventually a hero. But he also suffered the terrors of fighting and death. Through the battles, he learned something, but not all, of himself and his destiny. Through a postwar career change to law, however, Adam meets his destiny head-on when he chooses to represent a disbarred attorney charged as a serial rapist. He is faced with disappointment from his fiancee, Laura; oppposition from his uncle/mentor, Bishop John McFarlane; and shock from rape victim and political ally, Susan Sezman. Moreover, as the case unfolds, he is faced with the fate of the world.

1. Film Producer/ Actor - wrote, produced and played one of the lead roles in Rules (for men), a full-length feature film which recently won Best Comedy at the Atlantic City Film Festival. The film's stars include Jackie AThe Joke Man@ Martling (The Howard Stern Show), Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos), Frank Gorshin (Batman=s Riddler), Jerky Boy Kamal and NYC Z-100's Christine Nagy.
2. Published Novelist - author of criminal suspense novel, Pride & Loyalty, which has sold thousands of copies nationwide via Barnes & Noble and other chains.
3. Attorney - in 1995, became one of the youngest lawyers in New Jersey state history to win a criminal jury trial; currently serves in dual roles of criminal defense attorney and municipal prosecutor and has tried over 130 cases to date.
4. Newspaper Editor - served as political editor for The Italian Tribune News, the nation's largest Italian-American newspaper.
5. College Teacher - taught college classes in criminal justice and is certified to teach secondary education in New Jersey.
6. Competitive Weight Lifter - bench presses over 400 pounds while weighing under 165 pounds and has won numerous competitions.
Currently, Kenneth Del Vecchio is in pre-production for the film version of his novel Pride & Loyalty. He will serve as the film's producer, and it will feature several Hollywood stars.
