Kalee, every cell of my body is focused into each word that is written and any other emotion is painful. What shall I do, what shall I do? Mother Kali, reduce my entanglements making them fewer and fewer so that I may enjoy the sweetness of simplicity in the exquisite emotion of oneness with You. All these atheists and believers, the virtuous and the vicious, even parents, teachers, spouses, children, all relations now appear as just so many corpses who snap to life every now and then wanting me to toss them a little morsel. It is not terrifying, it is beautifully conclusive, O precious immortal Goddess... Kali! (from Kalee Bhava IV The Causeless Jewel of Happiness) She, as death is there to teach us Love. That is the reason for the taker who takes what is worthless so we will learn to treasure what is real. Ultimately, conclusively, every created creation folds back into the labrum lap of the sacred feminine, arriving stressless, becoming exhausted with itself, relaxing into the serene wonder of love as it is without reason or cause, as She stares down on Herself. Her bliss, Her love is the pearl of ecstasy and peace that comes up inside you when all else is felt to have no substance to it. It is She who quenches the thirst to be free of pain, She who is Inextinguishable Feeling, She of Unshakable Keel. She whose steady Bearing bears the world hurt, even heaven, or the thought of freedom and this immanent incessant surprising curious astonishing something no one may name, beyond all that delusion. Now I know I can love Her without fear. (from Inextinguishable Feeling) As I am but Humus, Humble before my Kalee... Her Sacred Heart Diagram being drawn on the Earth below Her Two Delicious Fragrant and Beautifully Seductive Feet... The Corners of which are the Vast extent of Creation, the Eight Heart Petals within being Mind, Intellect, Ego, the Ether of Spacetime, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. The five triangles of fifteen corners being the Five Senses, the Five Moving Functions and the Five Forces of Life Giving Power. The Innermost Primal, Perpetual and Finishing Triangle being the Waking Object, the Dreaming Subject and Dreamless Free Cognition, appearing as three yet Whose Substance of Consciousness Is the Same as Kalee... All these, all these principles in sacred mystic formula are not merely equations of Kalee but Kalee Herself Never Dual... The Ultimate Self Mystery, the Final Dot, the Center Point of Her Sacred Heart Diagram, the most mystic Tantric Syllables, the Inebriating Spiritual Wine Drop... just enough to Completely Overwhelm the dry delusion of distorted dualism, Remains as Sublime Perpetual Kalee Emotion... Peaking during the Conjugal Bliss of Never Dual Realization... Kali! (from Kalee Bhava I) Kalee... the Goddess, has Lovingly Shown Me through the Gladness of Her Inebriating Love, in the Sweetest Company of Her Lovers, by Arousing to the Peak, these Blessed Emotions of Harmonious Tendencies Toward the Divine, ascending up from the Well of Weeping, the Tear-Bliss caused by the conjunction of separation and union during the Exquisite Sentiment... Coming Up from the Primordial Kalee Kunda, here ever making forth the Universal World! So that no one should ever have any fear... not of the heart seizing up nor the breastplate cracking open, nor of the Earth falling out from under your feet, nor of lightning, cosmic rocks or balls of stardust descending from the sky-space, nor of water surrounding and drowning the body thing. These are nothing, for my Goddess has forced me to feel a million sentiments of bliss from a dozen universes combined with the pain of thirteen thousand scorpions biting... an emotion caused by identity and separation felt together, yet still only a single raindrop compared to the beautiful dark storm cloud of Her Bliss, Incomparable Happiness, free of the unborn, though appearing as a born amusing dualism... the Kalee Kunda, where all these descriptions of Her Natural Wonders emerge, dance and return... Once Kalee is lovingly realized, there is felt no more dual danger and what is known from this is that a loveless soul who seeks to create fear in others, is the one disappointment in all the universe... (from Kalee Kunda) This is the profound point and the epiphany of spiritual feeling that must be emphasized over and over until the accustomed feeling of this 'felt awareness' becomes absolutely natural as once was the awareness of the perishable body or bodies, gross, subtle or causal. The body, gross, subtle or causal, is only an idea, a concept, a condition existing in mind and mind itself is but a body of thought. Death is a delusion! In a dream the Divine Mother was guiding me in death practice. I could see my corpse on the ground below and I amazingly said to myself, 'I am not that corpse. I am not that body. Nor am I this subtle body that I feel and perceive surrounding myself at this moment which I am using to look at that dead body.' Then for a split fraction of a second in the dreamtime I felt the Divine Mother as a comforting Loving Light. Atma is What You are! 'Your own Atma is the Divine Mother.' The condition of one's conditions around this as life experience does not change the Reality, the Truth of this, no matter what those conditions are! And that this person, with 'felt awareness' can have fear, worry and even psychological distress (even as Ramakrishna did at times) but still be able to work up their self into Ecstatic Moment States of Goddess Awareness and Feeling, Knowing their own Atma as the Divine Mother - living as a natural person, humble, without pretense, self glory, exhibition, or the demand of self worship - even unnoticed and unknown - a spiritual friend to each one they meet without distinction as to what that friendship is. Then you don't have to strap yourself into the hell pit of trying to be a perfect being, or believing such a one exists. Richard Chambers Prescott is a writer and publisher of twenty books of poetry. He has had five plays published by Aran Press in Kentucky and over seventy essays and articles published from the U. S. A. to India. His essay, The Lamp of the Turiya, has been translated into Dutch and published in the Amsterdam journal, Vedanta. Over the last several years, some articles and essays have been printed in Prabuddha Bharata and The New Times. The intent of his writing is to join the spiritual and psychological aspects of human nature. He has donated to the publication of a text on the woman saint, Gauri Ma. Grascott Publishing has published two books of humor by Swami Bhaskarananda, The Danger of Walking on Water and One Eyed Vision. Some of his collected essays have been published in the texts, such as, Because of Atma: Essays on Self and Empathy and the work entitled Measuring Sky Without Ground: On the Goddess Kali, Sri Ramakrishna and Human Potential.
