The author . . . Kyle Busch, with his 1986 Volkswagen Jetta . . . driven over 300,000 miles and is still running strong. He has owned a variety of vehicles manufactured in the United States, Europe, and Japan.

The author has corresponded with a major European automobile manufacturer providing suggestions for increased efficiencies in manufacturing and vehicle performance.

The author grew up and resides in Erie, Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1987, and a master’s degree in counseling from Gannon University in 1992.
