About the Book

After training in swordsmanship for a year with the forest folk, Princess Werlee Friendsmaker seeks to rescue her mother, Queen Aleeris from Count Coremonger's clutches. Accompanying her on her quest is a shy, young and deformed wizard, a deposed prince, a dwarf, an old woman, and sometimes a handsome and mysterious swordsman who only shows when trouble is afoot.

Her greatest danger is the pyrobeast, a dragon who breaks her leg, rending her quest at a standstill. Her greatest foe is the wicked Count Coremonger, the one holding her mother. Her greatest challenge is in loving two people equally as much: the deformed young wizard, and the mysterious swordsman, both who quietly steal her heart.
