Immediately upon stepping into the elevator, Kate could feel his eyes upon her. While he was not the most handsome man she had ever seen, there was something incredibly attractive about him. He never took his eyes off her and she found herself starring back. His eyes were somehow familiar and seemed to be looking deep within her. Everything else seemed to fade away and though she could not quite understand why, she found looking into his eyes extremely arousing. She imagined him coming toward her, eyes filled with desire, grabbing the hair behind her head in his hand to pull her to him and kissing her passionately. Then, without a word, taking her right there on the floor of the elevator. Her nipples began to harden as she began playing through the entire scenario in her mind. She blushed slightly as she wondered whether he could see the effect he was having on her, through her sheer bra and light colored silk blouse. Kate dared not call attention to it by looking down at her chest, but something about the way he was looking at her told her. He was taking in every inch of her in such an intimate way that she found it titillating just to return his gaze. "This is crazy" she thought, "I’m fantasizing about strange men in elevators." But she could not take her eyes off him and he returned her gaze so intensely, it made her again blush. This time more deeply. The air between them had become tantalizingly charged, the sexual chemistry between them was unmistakable. Just then, the elevator door opened on the ground floor and brought her back to reality for a brief moment. But as she stepped out, the man moved up behind her, gently took her arm and as he led her down the hall whispered in her ear, "I want you, now, let’s stay in the moment. Come with me." His voice was deep and bewitchingly sexy yet somehow soft and soothing at the same time. He did not need to say another word, she followed him quietly. "I can’t believe I’m doing this." She thought about what she was planning to do, but she could not stop herself, his voice in her ear, his warm breath on her neck, the way he had looked at her, had aroused her beyond the point of caring. She wanted him, now. Before she realized where they were going, he had slipped into the men’s room of the hotel lobby and into an empty stall. By now she was not thinking about who might see or hear or that she was about to have sex in a public restroom with a perfect stranger. She was incredibly aroused and tingling with desire. In what seemed like an instant, her shirt was open to the waist and she could feel his mouth and tongue tease her nipples into a rock hard state. She moaned softly and reveled in the exquisite feeling of his warm tongue as he continued to arouse her beyond the bounds of anything she could recall. Kate had lost all awareness of where she was. All she could do was anticipate breathlessly the pleasure to come.

What does it take for a modern woman to find love true love when she has no time to look? Or maybe she is looking in all the wrong places? Kate is a 42 year old Public Relations Consultant doing a project for a 50ish business man to whom she is very attracted. Soon, a relationship starts to develop between the two. But all is not destined to go smoothly. What Kate does not realize is that a passionate, nameless, encounter she had in the restroom of a very upscale hotel is about to turn her world upside down. Her meeting this stranger again, discovering who he is, and his desire for her complicates Kate's life. The story plays out pitting wild passion against solid, growing, "comfortable" love with Kate in the middle. In the end, Kate has to choose. In trying to decide, she has to face her own demons. As women we have all made choices in the name of love, some good some bad. It had been said that insanity is doing what you have always done and expecting the result to turn out differently. In the end Kate comes face to face with that concept. What will she do? Find out as the story unfolds and Kate makes her choice.
About the Author
Elizabeth Rose is the pen name of the author, who began her professional career in New York as a practicing attorney and Adjunct Professor for the City of New York University System. Upon moving to Florida she began to pursue one of her first loves, teaching and writing. A single mom whose children are now out of the house, she has finally hit upon her passion-- writing. Understanding the needs of women, she writes to their needs and point of view. She has, over the course of her career, written how-to manuals for specific home-based business opportunities, set up departments and criteria for assisting home-based business people, and developed related products and services specifically geared to the home-based businessperson. Able to research and write on almost any topic, she recently finished editing a book for one of her clients. The book is entitled Heart’s Journey, Reclaiming Your Power of Choice. She has been busy editing a number of Business Opportunity and self-help books, while working on articles and programs to enable an entrepreneur to start, grow, and operate a business totally on-line. In addition, she has published a number of articles, many of which show the reader how to tap into the resources of the Internet for free and low cost home and business benefit. Looking to write something for the sheer fun of it, she started writing a short story that grew into A Moment of Impulse, an erotic romance novel, which is her first foray into fiction writing. Written with a slant to what a woman finds erotic, it combines just the right amount of romance with sex to create a story that holds you in it from beginning to end.
