About the Book

A Place Within is a book of poems that are self-expressions of everyday situations, decisions, directions and both inner and outer feelings. It is an inspirational message of togetherness, happiness, love and depth of one. About the Author

Anna was born in Italy, at the age of 5 the family moved to Canada.  She graduated from Grade 12, attended college and home study courses, received a certificate and diploma in Interior design and decorating plus one in Floral Arrangement & Floristry and a few credits in business, major in marketing. Anna enjoys photography, art, poetry, music, and dance. She is self-driven to succeed. Anna has lived in 3 beautiful countries, Italy, Canada and now married and living in the U.S.A. Years with Jacobson’s was a pleasant experience.

#1 love in life is God, Mom & Dad, Husband, 2 sisters and their families, they have fun times together.  She has versioned and experienced different cultures, unique people and has had many jobs, “Life is Fascinating” “Life is Creation.”

Her mother brought Anna back to Italy after 28 years, What a breathtaking adventure.  Her mother is her best friend.

Anna was a V.I.P. member with The World Of Poetry, now with International Society Of Poets, also a member with Detroit Institute of Arts.

Anna has received numerous Merits of Honors awards, trophy, plaque and has published a few of her poems which were honored with an award.

Anna attended the 5th annual poetry convention in Washington D.C.  Sept. 1989.  She read her poem Hard Times But Holding On which received a Golden Poet Award, a beautiful Trophy and a honor or merit award, the following years, 1986, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 she received the golden poet award.
