About the Author
Kelly A. Firmingham was born in Flint, Michigan, an inner city kid/child born prematurely, just trying to do her best and grow up. Becoming a writer with an actual publication seemed to her a far away dream then. Kelly was encouraged by so many people to continue writing in spite of an array of ups and downs in her life. Writing came to be a way to survive mental and emotional illness, negative people and places, and other mishaps. Ms. Firmingham has recently achieved the maturity to be able to honestly relate on a variety of issues, but admits that to understand totally how she feels is still beyond her. As she says, "Today is all I can do and to be myself is good enough." She states, "I do believe inner will sustains life and what I make of it is swayed by how I live it."
