I, Ora Irving, live in Tampa, FL. I was born in Gainesville, FL. I finished high school and went to college for business management. I am currently a housewife, and I spend my time writing lyrics for songs and poems. I have received a diploma from the Poetry Society of America. I believe poetry is a gift from God, and I am thankful God chose me to write through to his people. I wrote these poems, because God has always been the head of my life. As a child, my mother taught me that God was the way of life and through him all things are possible. I would like to thank God for my mother, because she motivated me to be the best I can be, and to never forget God, who’s the head of my life. I would also like to thank God for my sister Miriam who prayed for me everyday and who wanted what was best for me. I believe God blessed me with the talent to write poetry and through him, I will continue to write, and perhaps my poetry will inspire or touch another person’s life.
