LEARN TO TRY AGAIN To lose the first task is no disgrace Be courageous and stay on guard; With that prevalence keep in view DO YOUR JOB When you have a chore to do,
When you drop your lead and think you can't win
Don't let that stop you, try it again. Raise your head, shed no tears
Try it again and have no fears.
It may take the third chance to win the race.
Striving to succeed has no limited test.
The last one finishing could later be the best.
Continue to try, you'll get your reward.
It's no big deal if a few times you fail
With patience and courage you can still prevail.
"I can do it, if God wants me to."
Stand straight, don't unnecessarily bend.
Be sure you don't give up, just try it
again.

About the Book
This book is divided into three sections: The first section contains secular poems, which combine many worldly subjects both comical and truthful. Most of these facts are general information that should be remembered. The second section deals with poems of Religious standards emphasizing the Deity and Glory of the lord Jesus Christ and the many sacrifices he made because he loves us, and he shows us real love. When married couples know that kind of love they build a perfect family. The third section is "The Family Section," which shares observation of an average type family closely knit. All this is in poetic form so that it can be read with rhythmic enjoyment.
About the Author
I, G. Esta Collins, am a retired teacher of twenty-three years. My Bachelor of Arts was received form Jarvis Christian College, Hawkins, Texas. I love writing poetry because so much can be said in so few words and so beautifully. As a teacher I learned that many facts that are difficult to remember in ordinary prose can be retained gracefully in a poem. I love children and feel that they should know what makes a happy life for may of them have not learned this. Family, in many ways is emphasized throughout the book.
