Trod
Would be a task to bear.
And if He gave His head a nod,
It’s then I know He cares
I know that I should feel strong,
As my words do speak my heart.
And though I know "God" is never wrong,
His blessed name imparts.
I believe we should kneel down,
And repent within a prayer.
For with His love my faith’s been crowned,
Now I know that Christ was there.
To speak with words of good and such,
For "Christ" has sown this seed.
And with His hand I’ll feel His touch,
As I hope this is not a dream.
So in this world we are born with sin,
As in life we slowly trod.
And when I pray I hope to win,
More love and faith in "God."

The Inner Voice
These are poems that I wrote with the hope that they will open your heart, to "God’s" love. I do hope the reader that reads these poems will enjoy them for a lifetime. And with the thought that "God" loves you.
About the Author
I, Joseph Templett, have written poems on most subjects, but one day a voice said to me, "write some religious poems." And they just seemed to pour out of me to produce this book. I am sure God gave me this knowledge. It was not until I retired that all of this seemed to happen. I do hope the reader that reads these poems will enjoy them for a lifetime and with the thought that "God" loves you.
