A CHANGE IN TIME
We cannot change where we are
But one sweet day I will be a star
Sometimes I’m up sometimes I’m down
But there are good people all around
Love, peace, joy and happiness
Is like the sands in an hour glass
Utilizing the time that I have, to make it my best
My Lord and Savior will take care of the rest
I’ve always wanted things my way ... right now
But given patience, God will bless me and show me how Prayer and faith will lead me through I can’t start over but this day I can start new Life is quite short and time is very long But I know the Lord gives me strength and keeps me strong

About the Book
We find in poetry a deep expressing sensation of reality through feeling that we may have to look back on the past, where others sought great vision to express the future. The Joy in the Morning is written on behalf of my Lord, my God and the Savior of my life. I want everyone possible to know that Jesus Christ lives in my heart today. I must share and present in spiritual form my poetry. Some may never find the joy that I now possess, but it’s free to those who seek inspiration and the freedom that brings you personal happiness today. Sharing with others is a joy unto itself. On my journey through this life, I gain spiritual knowledge now and am able to share this wonderful feeling in preaching, and in sharing my poetry to many people who would never experience the joy of salvation otherwise.
About the Author
James Hinkle, a preacher-poet, has been published in a local magazine, Black Journal. He has also been placed in the International Poetry Hall of Fame property exhibit, read in-chain at Emmanuel Baptist Church, and displayed in the local Louisville Defender newspaper. His poetry was presented in the song Good Courage on an album released by Hill Top Records.
