About the Book
The first I would say original poems were namely time, work, the universe, laughter, the mountains, joy, wisdom, the stars, children, Christmas, Impossible, the ocean and love (the short version). These were like the inspiration to keep writing and not just give up. Many times I glanced at the paper bag they were in. I would take them out, show my family and then put them back. After praying for Gods help. I had a great flow of thoughts, rhyming words or ideas that sometimes were as simple as the title or based on an event reflected from a personal experience of what I had heard or felt that day.
About the Author
Born in Medford, Massachusetts in a family of seven, five siblings and our parents, Fran and Louis. I am the second oldest. I have two brothers and two sisters who I love very much. In 1975, the turning point of growing up, unsure of the future and feeling the burden of life's pressures, God touched and changed my life by awakening me to knowing personally He is real and loves us all to save us just as it is written in the Bible. Loneliness, fear, guilt shame, sadness were all replaced by God's love. I became confident, happier than ever and free to live and love others. Writing became a way for me to thank God for the changes in my life and describe my feelings. Even though these poems are an inspirational group of uplifting words. I don’t claim any great insight of deep understanding of either life or God's word. Simply, these poems show the gift of rhyming the English language and describing various aspects of life. I hope you enjoy them all and please share your favorites with your friends and loved ones. Thank you and God bless. Jeffrey Ventola
