About the Book

The saga continues...

It has been three years since the affair of the three dragons. Good and innocent people are dying in the Irish Sea. Holmes and Watson are summoned to Blackpool seaport to try and determine what is happening. Now they are faced with another great challenge-- a challenge that will not only determine the fate of England, but the rest of the world as well!

Ancient ghosts and legends return to haunt them at every turn. And if this were not difficult enough, many of the largest and most prized rubies from England-- and around the world-- are stolen, while an untold fortune in diamonds and other precious gems are left untouched.

Put upon to the maximum, it would seem that not even Sherlock Holmes could handle any more. And yet, he must now deal with that creature that has always struck fear into his heart;

the creature that has ever caused him dread and loathing at the thought of interaction; a creature with which he could never make peace.....a woman!!!

The beautiful Emily Cantaville is back at Watson’s side...or is she? What spell has been cast upon her by this, hitherto, unknown woman?

Can an African prince and his aide shed some light on this grave dilemma?

The ghost of the Dutchman must be stopped! But how do you stop a ghost?

The might of nearly the entire British naval fleet is brought to bear. But can even they keep the demon Dutchman from continuing his reign of terror?

All is revealed in, Sherlock Holmes and The Ghost of the Flying Dutchman. It’s Holmes and Watson at their best–during the worst–as you have never known them before!

About the Author

This is now the second book in Luke’s Sherlock Holmes trilogy. He continues to live a simple life in Ohio with his wife and two sons. Luke keeps busy with his literary pursuits while still managing to work with the music he so enjoys when time will allow.

Since the release of the first book in his trilogy, Sherlock Holmes And The Adventure of the Three Dragons, Luke continues to write more of the mystery, adventure and romance that have become the trademarks of his creations.

He still claims that his large family is one of the greatest joys of his life. Being the middle child of thirteen, Luke talks about the fun of swapping jokes and stories with his brothers and sisters, and their own extended families. He fondly remembers, what he calls, "the early Walton-like days," when he was a boy in the small town of St. Henry, Ohio. "Life was very simple then," he says. "You had all you needed, and you didn’t need as much as you think you do now."

As of the time of this writing, Luke continues to work with mentally and physically challenged adults, and says he will so long as he is able.
