About the Author

Elizabeth Jung lives in Clear Lake, Iowa and was born and raised on a farm near Danbury, Iowa. She was one of seven children and received her AA degree at Mt. Mercy, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Later, she returned to college and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

She has lived and traveled extensively in the United States and Europe. In her writing, she draws on this wide variety of real life experiences to create an in-depth realistic story with local color.

Her first novel, released in 2000, was THE BUDAPEST CONNECTION. It was set in River City, Iowa (Mason City, Iowa) and Budapest, Hungary. Her second novel, GAME BETWEEN SPIES was released early in 2001 and was set in Vienna, Austria. Presently, she is working on her fourth novel, set in Reno, Nevada. It is titled ASSIGNMENT: RENO, NEVADA and will be released early in 2002.

She spends her time writing, reading, antiquing and gardening at her lakeside home. She has three grown children, two sons and one daughter and three grandchildren, two boys and one girl.
