I noticed a young women with red hair and thin she was leaving the nursing station, she was limping wearing a hospital gown over her clothes, at first I didn’t speak, then instantly I was sorry, I felt I should have. As we walked through the walkway, I seen her again I spoke and stopped without hesitation, I asked her what happened? She was expressive telling me, “a brown spider bit her and how swollen it was, holding out her left arm to show me, I took her arm and held it in mine softly saying, “I’ll pray for you if that’s o k?” I prayed, “Father I wont to thank you for- I stooped to asked her name, as I apologized to Elenora for stopping. Tamby,” she said, “Lord I thank you for Tamby and asked you to heal her now in Jesus name, I rebuke Satan for his interference in you life, may the healing waters flow through you,” I asked God to help her to start back to him again. “ I hesitated and said, “I feel in the Spirit you had a hard time living for God. “ She shared immediately, she’d been away from the Lord, but came back with the help of her husbands faith, to start Church the coming week. Outside we sat on a bench she was taking a smoke break, she told me, she had a hard life and was deep into drugs and left home at fifteen. One day some Christian group talked her into getting off of drugs by going into a Rehab center. She had a tattoo of a demon on her arm, she told me, too remind God that she hated him for her brothers death. I said “did you learn it was the Devil who gave cancer to him?” She also recently got to enjoy her daughter age eleven, who her other sister had adopted. Then when she was doing great, she helped her young sister away from drugs, by letting her move in with her. Now her sister runs a support group home for troubled teens.
One day Elenora met me on the mall she was reading my book II (copy) She told me she read it in a week, unbelievable, my two critics took months. Lots of the workers who are my friends, want to buy my book when it comes out, one guy Brent wonted one, I said, “its all about the Lord, he said, “that’s o.k. He needed salvation, he was into heavy medal rock music, I told him do you know the c. d ’s can be suggestive, and the lyric’s can get young people crazy-like and actually end up killing someone, especially if they also use drugs.” It was on the Leesa talk show today.
I prayed for a lady who thought at first she had lost her purse. When I was getting ready to leave the mall, here comes my brother Dwayne and Jewel we talked almost three hours, I called Anna to watch Robbie after school. Dwayne thinks Vida was killed by Merdeth attacking her with a knife when one day she went grazy with severe mantle problems and Harald is protecting her. Irine and Meareth, Vida’s oldest daughter came to the mall with notebook’s inj their arms to meet me, it was all about our sister Vida’s disapearence. The detectives are still hard at work putting the pieces together . Her dentel records matched the teeth the Kenya dogs scrated up out at the site, Merdeth told Ina she had prayed so hard. The clerk there at the dentist office asked Irine if we were Christians? “yes,” she told tyhem proudly. She felt she should look for the records and not wait for the lady in Charge to return from wacation, she had already told Merdeth she would have to wait. That day after prayer she told her she decited to return to the office looking througth th dusty attic she came across Fida’s dental record’s going back to 1977. It is a mericle she told her to find them. Merdeth was crying a lot at Daphane’s house where their dad also lives north of town in the same area where Denita, and Deane live. She kept asking her dad for the truth, she wasn’t to know what happendto her mom when she was nine years old , the day she never returned, Chico was fifteen. Her mom had called two weeks after she left, saying harald hrt her hand bad while playing the piano, Mother had told me but she had came back. All Harald said to the detective’s is, “I didn’t do it,”More then once when they questioned him. Daphane got somewhat vicious with her sister , yelling at her to leave, Dedee fourteen, was outside.

About the Book
It is about Gena and her family: How she overcame many hardships, of abuse in her childhood and married life. She stayed faithful to the Lord and her husband, with God's strength to help her, in spite of her start in life.
Gena married in 1954, to Loyd, they have five grown children and seven grandchildren. They live in the country in a small town.
I believe my book is therapeutic and inspiring. I am hoping readers will see Gena's faith in God and endurance in spite of many adversities.
The family traveled across the country to find jobs, in a homemade camper. Her father drove much to fast through the badlands, while her mother yelled for him to slow down. The nine children in the back became very frightened, they kept singing “Tell it to Jesus,” over many times.
Arriving in Oregon on April 12th in the spring of the twins fourteenth birthday, Her parents bought a unfinished house in the city. In 1949, her mother gave birth to another child, and cared for all twelve children going on welfare.
On the front cover there is a picture of a bench by the bus stop where Gena often sat, also a shadow falling across the page to represent darkness that robbed her of her childhood. Why me God she cried? One late night, thinking to step out on front of a speeding car, an easy way to end the deep-hurt inside.
About the Author
I was born in North Dakota in April of 1932, along with my twin, I have dark brown hair, and wear it shoulder length, I'm five feet five an a half inch tall. My parents were sharecroppers. We came west in 1946. I graduated from High School in 1950, I held my head up high after tragedy struck. I excelled in music and sports, playing my violin at school and Church. I often felt the call of God upon my life, I’m married for forty nine years. I started work at age fifteen as a waitress. I took radio -acting at business school. I worked as a volunteer at the local hospital with the children, earning my certificate, and hat and pin. I was a nurse's aide from 1981 until I retired in 1989. I have done volunteer counseling for 700 Club and learned how to save my own marriage. I taught Sunday school for many years.
