About the Book
Tens of thousands of hours, both in casinos and running computer programs, have been factored into mathematically tested true count tables that illustrate the best possible choice for how to play any hand of blackjack. The decisions illustrated in these true count tables represent the most complete and accurate plus-minus count system that has been published. The author hopes they will be as useful to others as they have been to him in staying financially ahead at a casino blackjack table.
About the Author
William Talbot Bastable was born May 24, 1961 in New York City. From childhood on, he has been interested in games of skill starting with Labyrinth in fourth grade. As a teen and young adult, he conquered Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Mania, and Mr. Do, setting unofficial world records. He graduated from Monmouth College on July 8, 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. There he became interested in blackjack as the game of chance, which offered the best odds at Atlantic City casinos. He has spent the last six years using computer skills to calculate those odds and to develop a simple method of enhancing them through observation of cards played.
