About the Book
Many of us have experienced moments in our lives when it seemed our entire world was about to collapse. Yet, something or someone gave us the hope, courage, and strength to endure these difficult times. Perhaps even more important was the growth process, that, (in retrospect), we unconsciously went through as a result of these extremely difficult periods. As we learn to deal with difficult situations, we tend to appreciate those particular inspirations of hope that aided us in our most troublesome times. For instance, after the horrific and tragic murder of his only son, the famous comedian and accomplished actor Bill Cosby was asked how he was coping with such an emotional, painful, and personal lose? He responded by saying he found comfort via a poem entitled 'IF' by Rudyard Kipling. Sometimes during our darkest hour, we find emotional and spiritual stability through an unsuspecting resource. This spontaneous inspiration may come in the form of a person perhaps a stranger, a sudden event, or we may simply remember an old saying or phrase. Nonetheless, it provides us with the strength to keep holding on, when every inch of fiber in our being is so desperately telling us to let go!
