as free as my soul.
I let it pass o’er hills ripe and lush with life
Joyously seeking anew,

About the Book
My heart and soul have been filled with life and the experiences therein. This collection is a medley of feelings encompassing many years. My hope is that readers will relate to the offerings herein and enjoy them for what they are...shared feelings. My wish for readers of these thoughts: May your souls soar with life’s bounties of love, peace, prosperity, good health, and happiness, and may angels surround you on life’s journey!
About the Author
Constance J. Grote was born in Topeka, Kansas. Her love of writing began in high school and continued throughout her life. 1stBooks is publishing her first novel, In the Shadow of the Past, this year. She has attended various workshops and conferences and has written poetry, memoirs, travel stories and short stories. A former executive secretary, she wrote her novel in the evenings and on weekends while working full time. Connie's poetry is a collection of memories and thoughts collected over the years. She will continue to create poems in the hope of publishing a second poetry book sometime in the future.
