About the Author
Helene Andreu, an accomplished dancer, dance teacher and choreographer, studied in New York, including several years at the School of American Ballet, and performed and choreographed for summer stock and Off-Broadway musicals, operas and operettas.
She received her M.A. in Dance Education from Columbia University, and has Dance Education licenses for Junior and High School, Early Childhood and Community Centers.
Her teaching experience covers all ages, in private studios, colleges, after-school, community and adult education centers, and all forms of dance and movement: ballet, tap, jazz, modern, folk and ethnic, improvisational, jazzaerobics and aerobics.
This is her third book. JAZZ DANCE, AN ADULT BEGINNER'S GUIDE, was published by Prentice-Hall in 1983. AEROBIC RAZZMATAZZ: 12 Workouts by 12 Minutes Each, was published by 1stBooks in 2000.
