About the Book

Books combining gospel theology and junk science have become more and more common. It seemed a nice idea to reverse the trend. This little tome blends junk theology with real science. At least it is real science as far as it goes. Its mix of deities and donuts sets out a pattern for a universe that, while huge, is not infinitely large in the amount of matter and energy it contains or the space it occupies. That should make an easier pill to swallow than the dictum that our universe is infinitely massive.

Do attempt to pick up on the nonsense. Some has been scattered around on purpose. Try to spot the baloney included by mistake. A lot of work I have not done is mentioned in Chapter 7, “Loose ends.” Give it a go.

Engineers, physicists, astronomers and similar oddballs may enjoy this book. I expect the many numbers in Chapter 5 plus – gasp! – algebra and calculus in the Appendix could put off a few of our general readers.

About the Author

Charles Heath claims Mystic, Connecticut as his hometown. He left the States to live in South America with a freshly minted degree in Chemical Engineering. After a stint with the Marines at the time of the Korean War, he returned to South America, married and briefly worked with Exxon’s then new grass-roots refinery at Cartagena. He later moved to the Caribbean island of Barbados.

After more than three decades spent in Barbados, he retired to become a cruising liveaboard on the yacht Cosmos – sailing the Caribbean for a few years. In 1998, he settled in Houston where two of his three daughters reside.

Charles Heath has always been self-employed, except for those two years with Exxon. He is interested in flying, films, writing and music.
