A BLANK

As I sat at my computer keyboard today,
And stared at it with nothing to say.
I tried to think of a clever way,
To get across my thoughts in words today.
But my fingers did not move in that joyful play,
So I sat and wiled away the precious time.
Then it was seven eight then nine,
I tried to bring out the need to find GOD.
But this Anointed mind was in a fog,
And just layed there like a sleepy old dog.
I tried to say what JESUS came for us to be,
But the words just died at my feet.
But this I say and mean it so,
Just ask for JESUS to save your Soul.
I ate a snack of some pretzel sticks,
In hoping that my mind would kick in and tick.
This I say to you in a awesome demise and plight,
Say "JESUS SAVE ME TO HEAVEN FOR THE ETERNAL DELIGHT."

A BOOK

I was thumbing thru the dictionary today,
I came across words that I could not spell or say.
It is a awesome book needless to say,
It is a good book to have around.
It sure can get you out of a tight,
When at work or play.
I have spell checker,
In my computer to call upon,
And I use it all along.
It is easier to spell those bodacious words,
The kind that Snuffy Smith cannot spell.
Also I have another Book I like to read,
It is the Bible all about GOD.
It tells me about HIS many attributes,
Also about HIS SON and HOLY SPIRIT to boot.
HE is a awesome GOD for sure,
HE is straight and is fair,
And treats us all the same for sure.
You just cannot ask anything fairer than that,
I am no better than someone else,
And they are no better than me.
No matter the color of their skin,
Or the size or shape they can be.
To be as good as someone else,
Just ask JESUS in.
It is plain to see,
HE is the answer for you and me.
HE is the answer for the whole world,
And all the problems it has.
Only HE can give us total peace.
Would that be wounderful to see,
No more bickering and fighting,

Between you and me.
So invite HIM in and you will see,
The peace and love between you and me.
Peace and love is a wounderful thing,
No more knives or guns or killing things.
No more hate and no more lies,
Will there be.
Just you, JESUS and me.
Receive HIM now and you will see,
Love in the heart is a wounderful thing.
Just say "JESUS SAVE ME TODAY,"
And ask for the HOLY SPIRIT to stay.
It is a wounderful new road,
That you will walk on.
Just because of "JESUS THE SON."

A BUNNY TALE

I was walking down a lane today,
When I looked and saw a bunny coming my way.
As I looked and it hopped along,
It was humming a sweet little song.
All the little birds were singing along too,
They seemed to say, "This song is from us to you."
It was a nice little tune,
It sounded so nice in the sweet afternoon.
This tune had a familiar strain,
I could not place it in time.
So I started to hum the little tune,
As I walked along in the afternoon.
And all the birds seemed to sing along,
As I hummed the tune and walked along.
Then it came to me where I heard the tune,
It was from my childhood day's in Sunday school.
"JESUS loves me this know,
For the BIBLE tell's me so."
It is a cute little tune,
But it tell's the truth 'till HE comes.
So receive my JESUS it is easy to do,
Just say "JESUS SAVE MY SOUL."
So now as you walk along,
Just hum this little bunny song.
