About the Book

I’m 4'11" and Going to Heaven opens with a vivid overview of my own frustrations with love and relationships when I meet my Lupé. The two of us experience an immediate attraction. We soon fall in love and get married, but had to deal with my wife’s very complex health problems. My wife tried valiantly to fight off the ailments that attacked her small body. Her deep faith in Jesus Christ - her Lord and Savior - sustained her through her pain. I round out this intimate journal with a tender glimpse into my own emotions and insights as my wife passed into the actual presence of our Lord, whom we both love. In every detail I share my heart-filled recollection and devotional sentiment which contribute to this personal, tear-filled story of my dear wife Lupé. I give God the Father through His son Jesus Christ all the glory, as I present my story in these four chapters as a brief description surrounding how His Holy Spirit sent me this 4'11" American Indian woman of a different ethnic background. She was used to give me a wake-up call, as I turned my life over to the Lord and became ‘Born Again.’

I write this testimony in loving memory of my Lupé. It is never too late to pick up the pieces of one’s life and ask Jesus Christ to take charge of your remaining life. The Bible scripture comes alive in Isaiah 59:1 (King James version):

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that He cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that He cannot hear. . .

Like my Lupé always said to me, no matter how much she hurt towards the end of her life here on earth . . . "I’m 4'11" and I’m going to heaven!" . . . Now I often hear my Lupé’s spirit saying, "I’m 4'11" and I’m IN heaven!"  Praise the Lord!

In Loving Memory . . . Love you Lupé, Forever. . .

"I typed this book for Will six years ago, just recently updating it.  It has been his heart's-desire to see this book in print.  He loved his wife so very much and holds her close to his heart.  This book - written with simplicity - is his tribute to her, in memory of the love they shared for each other and how she helped him to turn his life around. . .a very moving story.  I have known Will for the past ten years.  I can certainly attest to the fact that the Lord has changed his life.  He is not the same person that he describes himself to be in the book before he asked Jesus to come into his life.  It is with sadness and regret that I never met his Lupé.  I want to graciously thank 1stBooks Library for publishing his book for him."

About the Author

I'm 4'11" and Going to Heaven in which this man William Pasco, Jr. wrote in his own hand over a period of eight months, opens up with a vivid overview of this man's frustrations in life, until he met a little 4'11' Native American (Cherokee Indian) in 1979. This man married this pretty small-frame Christian lady in 1980. He had to deal with his wife's complex health problems. This man's wife, Fawn Mary Pasco, valiantly had to fight off the ailments that attacked her small body. This little Native American was a God-send to this troubled man. This little lady read her Bible daily. During their marriage, she would always read Bible scriptures to her husband, who did not know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at that point in time, until one year before his wife went home to be with the Lord! This Indian lady was Born Again! Since she was a little girl! There is not one doubt in this man's (author) mind that this Christian lady is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! As the author looks back, during his twelve years of marriage, and even now in the year of 2003, he was a very blessed man, to be the husband to this pretty Native (American Indian) woman, who was truly a God sent angel to this man. He gives God the glory, and always praises God, saying, "Thank You, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for giving me this pretty little woman." This man, husband, author, shares every detail about this heart-filled recollection and devotional sentiment, which contributes to this personal, incredible, apologetic, tear-filled story. During their marriage, this man and woman bonded even closer throughout their trials and tribulations. Our Father makes our lives through Christ, our Lord, stronger, to do and live the good life the way Jesus wants his children to...being Born-again, Saints! This man and woman called each other Lupé, which means "sweetheart." This Native lady spoke Iroquoian. Following his wife's passing, the Author, Husband William Pasco Jr., shares their testimony with others who face adversity in their lives, such as a death of a loved one, perhaps a spouse! The Big Question: How to survive when a part of you dies?

The answer is: faith and trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, God's only son, who died for our sins. He takes a tragedy and turns it around 180 degrees from devastation to joy. Jesus takes away the pain and emptiness and replaces it with a heavy touch of tranquil love, and He (the Lord) will do the same for anyone who comes to Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords and the King of Kings...anyone who turns their life over to Him and picks up the cross of Christ and follows Him! They became Born-Again! This man, the Author, travels to his family grave site and puts fresh flowers (red roses) on his departed wife's grave twice a year: February 14th, Valentine's day...his wife's birthday...and September 12th, the day in which our Lord took Fawn to her heavenly home!

She passed from Death to Life!
