About the Book
My
book is truly affairs from the heart. It doesn’t matter if you are 5 years or
95 years old, someone can relate to at least one of my poems. It’s funny because most people that read some
of my poems seem to think that I am writing about them, when in fact I am
not. I must admit there is a lot of pain
in this book and as you continue reading you can see that. You will also see how much in love I am as
well. This book will definitely keep you
laughing, if not crying, it can be emotional at times.
This
book will definitely have you begging for more, it will also inspire you to
even write your loved one a poem or two if not borrow from it. Whether you want something bitter and sweet,
or something to relax you while relaxing with a bottle of wine, or just plain
entertaining your friends, you can surely do just that. My
Thoughts is truly my thoughts and no one else's, so you can rest assure
that these are my ideas only and that, no one can take away.
About the Author
Born Sharon Yuvette Ford on June 16, 1971 to the
parents of Walter Ford and Carolyn Walker." Shae writes about affairs of
the heart and socio-political issues. She's a phenomenal chanteuse,songwriter,
writer, actress, activist mother, and she touches real people."
A native of Albany, Georgia, Shae confirms: I write
about things that I've gone through, and a lot of them are frustrating. I feel
like everybody must go through certain things in their life because that's how
you learn-it's how you get to where you need to be."
Shae's journey to this realization started in
Albany, where she grew up in a family of three girls(she's the middle child.)
" I was the child who was always daring and outgoing," she informs. I
wanted to be involved in every activity from cheerleading, sports, plays, to the
church choir."
At the age of 32 Shae is a single parent of Jonathan
Ford whom she is very proud of and loves dearly. Shae now resides in Stone
Mountain, Georgia where she is currently looking to continue the process of achieving
her goal and gaining national exposure.
"My goal is to leave a resounding message
through my poems in the hearts and minds of listeners around the world
forever."
