About the Book

Many of us go through life never realizing that a line of difference stands between Destiny and Fate and because we do not acknowledge this difference we forget to live and resort to merely existing.

We walk, and look up and down, right and left but we never look within as we pretend that we do not hurt, we do not doubt, we do not get depressed or loose hope and because we deny the truth we refuse to believe that we can win.

This is the story of Destiny: her ups and downs and Fates' unpredictable hand. A story where truth is questioned, failure is prosecuted, and Destiny is allowed to judge.

Throughout this book you are carried through many phases of growth both mentally and emotionally (through the use of poetry, philosophy and pros) and are allowed to experience what it means to look life in the eye and say "You belong to me now".

It's about a struggle, a struggle we all experience as we try to get to where ever it is we wish to go in life.

About the Author

Shanalee S. Smith grew up on the beautiful island of Nassau in the Bahamas. She was one of four children and from the age of thirteen discovered that she had a great love of writing and a calling to serve the Lord.

Throughout the years she developed her skills more and more and vowed to herself that she would by the age of twenty-five become an established Author and Playwright.

In an effort to accomplish that goal she completed her first book in August of 2002 at the age of twenty. Believing that the world and all contained in it is simply a part of one big cycle she moves on in hopes of helping the people of the world (no matter their race and culture) understand that if they can develop themselves as individuals then they can understand and appreciate that they are all equal.
