My Father's Business

Spiritual intimacy comes first with God calling to us and we responding to His call. Then gradually we start to comprehend the sparks from His reality, His touches from within our living souls cause us to notice Him, for God's love is good. As we slow down God starts to fill our souls as we've invited Him to stay and grow within us. If there's any sin in the way it is made known to us by the light of His presence. Once we come to an awareness that Christ, as we understand Him, has removed our character defect of being sexually impure, we become sensitive to where our strength and source of joy is coming from. We've sought Him out and trusted Him, and now we've found Christ to be true to His word, He has become even more apart of us for even greater intimacy. It is like a tree whose roots go deeper within the soul, as the tree grows they're brought up from beneath the surface uprooting the smaller plants which then fall away; we are rooted and grounded in the love of God and our relationship with God is as the tallest tree whose roots pop up all else that has been rooted against us. Again, our relationship with God is as a part of the weave of a pot holder. The strands are cross-stitched one on one to give it strength, as is our relationship with Christ; the fruits of His character, (Gal. 5:22-24), in place of our own, men and woman grow together through Him and become complete as they are stitched in Him. As couples enter into marriage they need to be fashioned as one garment. Then comes the border that holds the stitch work together, sexual intimacy, as consummation of their oneness by Gods design. The truth is always far better than what the devil has to offer us within the anguish of His lies. An illustration of this is also found in God's design, in the same way a flower comes before the completion of the fruit, sex is only to be as a fruit of marriage; anything else is, love minus truth, which is a distortion of the truth as it did not grow to ripen in the bond of the unity within God's pattern. The devil tries to get us to harvest flowers which keeps us from the fruit which can sustains us; in this reality sex becomes cheap as there is no commitment to reveal the substance of our true worth. When children are birthed into God's pattern they inherit the spiritual intimacy of their parents, so they in turn can repeat the cycle, as they come into bloom in their own relationships with Christ as their head as well. Without God's pattern children inherit chaos instead of the blessing, for God is put outside of His pattern distorting it, when sex becomes the center in place of Christ who is the value of life. The devil attacks sexual purity with the lie of lust which corrupts as it rots the soul; for we look at people as objects to possess, rather than with a worth to know. Yes a pretty face is usually the attraction, but what’s living on the inside may bring decay to the soul.
