Starting Out

This is indeed a humbling experience when we are blessed with understanding of fear because it places us in a right position before God.  For we become humble and meek before him and powerless in ourselves.  It hurts to face this.  Satan hates us to know this because fear continually motivates us to be right before God.  If we did know when we would die then we would forgive, repent, be delivered and LOVE all at the last minute.  We wouldn’t do it daily.  Satan tells us that the dirty jobs can wait until tomorrow.  He tells us that we have loads of time and that final judgment is not that severe.  That God understands our apathy.  Satan whispers that God doesn’t mind us swearing, or sleeping with someone out of wedlock.  He understands.  We are human.  God will spit us out, for being luke warm. 

He will also say that He never knew us.  Can you feel the pain of that denial, if it were to happen to you?

We must wake up.  We must live each day as if it were our last, for it could be.  I know this is hard to look at because Satan doesn’t like anyone to think of dying, merely because it changes your whole perspective on your life.  Death is part of a process.  Death to our flesh, daily, and then our actual, physical death of our bodies is part of the process of judgment.  It is all part of whether we will reach Heaven, or whether we will fall into hell.  Each day of living we make choices which will be judged.  Everything we do is recorded in Heaven, down to the smallest detail.  Our tongue itself has the power to throw us into hell.

Satan makes us focus on mindless things so we don’t think about the seriousness of the warnings in the Bible.  Getting to know the Bible, the WORD of God and getting to know God Himself intimately all take time to do.  We must make time, for tomorrow could be too late.  How many of us are ready to meet Him?  Are you spotless?  We should be very mindful and careful of our Eternal Home.  I think that in a deeply, dreadful, way, that many more Christians than we could dare to believe will be very shocked to find that they did not get into Heaven.  Then when they are shown in Judgment, they will know why.  In our inner hearts we do know why.  I ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what he wants us to do something about and that we will decide to act on the Holy Spirits lead and guiding.

Open our hearts, Lord, and reveal to us our faults.  Help us to know Your fear and don’t let us be spat out.  This I ask in the beautiful and precious name of Jesus.

God is absolutely just.

God is absolutely just.  He cannot make acceptions because you  think you deserve to be favourite because of all the good works you do.

He is just.

He is God.  He shows no favoritism.  We have rules and moral standards set by God for us in his word.  The commandments are obvious commands for us.  Just as are ‘The Beatitudes,’ they were given to us to help us to live as God wants us to live so that God can bestow His blessings onto us.   If we ignore some, or any, (I dread to believe, all) then we will not make Heaven.  Stealing an apple or stealing a mountain bike, are both sins.  Looking at a woman with lust is the same as sleeping with her. 

We must love, not lust.  Homosexuality is an abomination to God.

Dear Lord Jesus.

I pray with my arms lifted to you in petition that for all those who are reading this you will manifest directly into their body. 

I ask that you will open their eyes to any bloodshed that they may have caused – both consciously and innocently – and to reveal any area of disobedience that requires your cleaning and healing touch. 

O, Mighty Father, help us to clean up our lives before you.  Groom us to be worthy to enter Heaven so that we can live with you in eternity.  We love you Lord, we earnestly desire to serve you, and to live for you.  Please forgive us for sinning towards you, Father.  Help us to understand You more. 

Please instill in me Your God given fear as, “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge.”

This I ask for in the name of Jesus.

May your will be done, Father in my life and in the lives of my enemies too.
