About the Book
Reflections of My Life is an uplifting and encouraging book that
reflects the many emotions and stages of life.
I love how it shares her heart from love and laughter to confusion and
courage, from youth to old age. It is a
wonderful expression of a wonderful lady’s life.

I feel blessed to know
this author. I am familiar with the
hurts she has had and consider her a real true friend. This book is a ray of sunshine and will lift
up each reader. Most of all, these poems
give God all the glory. Reflections of My Life will touch many
hearts.

About the Author
Reflections
of My Life is a collection of
poems and a brief autobiography that Olene Kiser has
written over the course of her seventy-eight years. She has watched our country go from an primarily agricultural-based economy to the vast
industrialized nation that we are today.
She has survived the “Great Depression”, World War II, the loss of her
first-born child, the family disease of alcoholism and the deaths of her grown
daughter and her husband. She combines her complete devotion to God with her
love of words to create a touching and sincere expression of her thoughts and
feelings. Olene
learns and grows through her life’s experiences and chooses to look forward
with hope rather than despair.
Her poetry has regularly been published in the newspaper in Hot
Springs, Arkansas, The Centennial Record, and frequently printed in her church
bulletins. She also has given poetry readings at her church. She has been published in five books of
poetry, winning a blue ribbon for “Todd’s Goat Willie” in Voices of the South:
A Pleasant Reverie, the National Library of Poets
Warm Thoughts, Spreading the Word of God Through Rhyme
Glory to God in the Highest, American Arts
Association
Voices of the South, Southern Poetry Revue
