Secret Poems to My Love. . .

I was born in Indiana but moved to Florida where I attended Florida Atlantic University. I Chose to become a Massage Therapist and Hypnotist.

I was Interested in Poetry as a young child and had a poem published at the age of eleven. (began writing again, seriously, after attending college and finding romance. All the poems in this volume were written within the past five years.

These are a collection from my experiences. Once I have an inspiration or an idea of what I want to say I get this image in my head and go with it. I allow my mind to roam back to the past. Every written experience includes some part of a writers recent or remote past

Once I sit down to write a poem my mind goes into a ‘free fall’ of words, phrases and images bringing back the experiences of past occassioms.

I do not try to be profound, lofty, esoteric or circumspect. My goal is to keep the vocabulary and imagry simple and understandable to the reader. I want to bring my emotional experiences to the reader’s hearts and minds; to invoke and provoke in them their experiences as well as their emotional responses to my poetry.
