A Brand New Beginning

Genesis 8:13
“And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the Earth: --”

No condition is permanent.  There is a time and season to every situation.  Now that you have made it into the New Year, you can look back and say, thank you Jesus for crossing me over. While others were drowning in the river of their spiritual, economic and financial troubles, you survived; only by the grace of GOD.  This is the first day and first month of a great year.  The flood is dried up and the trash of the past has been washed away.  Now that you have been ushered into a brand new beginning, do you have a resolution?

If so, does it include seeking the kingdom of GOD first and His righteousness? You can make this new era  a joyful and prosperous one by refusing to repeat the mistakes of the old year.  Because they put GOD first in their lives, Noah and his family were saved from the flood; and they crossed over into a new and prosperous era. The fact that GOD allowed you to survive the turbulent past suggests that you have another chance to fulfill your purpose on Earth.  Learn from the past and look ahead.

Leaping Over Barriers

A leap year should not only be the time when the   days of the year increase by one day; but rather a time to increase your wealth and prosper in your walk with GOD. Never get left behind when the year or season is leaping. Leap with joy over every single barrier of your natural and spiritual success by running with the vision that GOD has given you.  Because you must move with time, every now and then you should get in the fast lane to overtake those who are attempting to slow you down.  A leap year is longer than the regular year; because it is the time man chooses to make up for lost time.

It comes every four years and twenty five times every century.  The days that the locust has eaten from your life can be recovered.  Make the best of it.  You cannot afford to let the devil chase you this time. You must put him on the run.  Leap for everything that is yours.  To leap is to move aggressively, decisively and swiftly. You do not have the time to remove obstacles just leap over them.  Because you do not have time to waste, jump as high as you can and keep on moving. This is your opportunity to redeem the time; so do it in the name of Jesus.

True Independence

True Independence comes when Christ makes you free after recognizing Him as your LORD and personal Savior.  The Scripture says, whom the Son sets free is free indeed.  It is this freedom that can cause one to make this confession and affirmation by saying,  “In GOD We Trust” Any independence apart from this truth is so-called, temporal and self-deceiving. Thank GOD, the independence of this great superpower, the United States was based upon the biblical  convictions of  the founding fathers. It is this independence that promotes the freedom of religion and worship. Independence is simply the state or quality of being free.

To be independent is to be free from the opinions of others and not easily influenced and controlled by them.  If a nation is free, its people are or should also be free. Where the people are not free the nation itself is not. The Scripture says, choose you this day that you will serve and let everyone be persuaded in his or her own mind. There is nowhere in the world where freedom is felt as the United States.  It is this love of freedom that causes missionaries to travel  into  the remote part of the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank GOD for America!

Expecting The Unexpected

This is a day that will never be forgotten in human history. A time when the enemy who moves in the shadows staged a demonic sneak attack on the worlds only remaining super power and killed thousands of innocent people. It was a sad time for all peace and freedom loving people. Truly, nobody knows what tomorrow holds but GOD. The LORD warned us to watch and pray.  The Bible says let him that thinks he stands be aware or else his fall is eminent. The least likely place and season is where and when the devil likes to attack. Except the LORD keep the city, the watchmen wakes but in vain, says the Word of GOD.

The best we can do to protect ourselves is to watch and pray.  The two must go together or else the enemy will find his way back. Don’t think you are immune against evil without divine protection. Never say never without the inspiration of the Holy Ghost.  Be preparing for the unexpected from the enemy who knows his destiny is doomed and time is running out.  The devil is the father of lies who comes to steal, kill and destroy, the Word of GOD says. He is also the master of disguise. On the battle field, we must therefore be careful of those who say they are behind us or on our side. Again watch and pray and look out for the une
