About the Book

Nathan Rubin is a professor of Haifa University in Israel. We meet him in the summer of 1962 on the mountaintop fortress of Masada near Jerusalem waiting for Cavendish, a British archeologist and his long time friend. Rubin has an amazing find to share with him as well as an extraordinary invitation. Professor Rubin discovered an ancient parchment that reveals the secret of time travel and describes the whereabouts of a mythical Persian treasure. They agree to cross the portal to the past, Rubin leaving behind Jerome, his thirteen year-old son; and Cavendish relinquishing academia and a lifetime of successful research.

The narrative resumes thirty years later. Jerome is now forty-three, a venture capitalists, art connoisseur-and dying.

The mystery encrypted on a scroll, keepsake of his father, compels Jerome to embark on his own incredible mission-like his father before him he’s transported to the past; there he meets a sorcerer who guides him to unearth the fabled secret of the Lion Keys, regain his health, come to terms with the memory of an enigmatic father, and walk the path toward his own redemption.

The Aramaic Codex is an unusual journey, a thrilling story of love, friendship and betrayal in a scenario that ends with an intriguing and suspenseful twist.
