PRELUDE
One hundred fifty years in the future, after the
Mexican Brown Race had overwhelmed the population of North America, the game of
golf, in a runaway catastrophe, had emerged as the ultimate form of
recreation. To placate all the other
people not actively involved with playing golf, the addition of zoos and vast
open green parks had augmented the verdant acreage that had, inspired by the
sport, historically delineated the links throughout the history of the
game. On the brighter side, people had
no longer buried themselves within the confines of the enormous shopping malls
covering the states. Instead they had
spent all of their leisure time congregating in the outdoors.
On the darker side, because of a terrible
misunderstanding of the game of golf and its sustaining infrastructures, the
entire North American continent has suffered damage from severe drought. This geographical embarrassment sorely
affected America’s hegemonic relationships with the rest of the world. China had been recruiting nations for years
and quietly cultivating a new international order. It was not surprising then, that to exacerbate the sordid
situation, the Chinese, aided in an unusual alliance with the Japanese, chose
this time to blockade North America.
Seven years later, aliens similar to humans in appearance, and from
another universe entirely, in their search for suitable DNA to continue their
immortality, land and kidnap some of Earth’s primate species.
Again the heroic trio of Gus and Sharon Brockman and
Dr. Samuel Ugo is off on another adventure to save the Earth from the
DNA-seeking aliens. A fallen Mexican
golf pro, Jaime Gonzalez, helps them in this cause, along with his ailing,
phlegmatic friend, Paco Ramos. Jaime
and Paco are the humans taken away by the aliens and find themselves on a blue
world similar to Earth but very far from home.
Jaime achieves a way for them to escape and return to their own
universe. Appropriately, Jaime’s
dormant golfing skill plays a significant role in this endeavor.
Upon their return to earth, they unite with Gus,
Sharon, and Sam in time to save the human race from extinction by the
cannibalistic aliens.
