About the Author
Debbie Barwick was entrepreneur-minded, even at an early age. She started selling glittered greeting cards to neighbors when she was in elementary school. She discovered her love of writing at the age of eight and remembers her third-grade teacher, Miss Hodges, reading her fiction stories to the class. In her young adult years, she launched a life-time hobby of writing freelance feature articles for newspapers. For fun, she has also written and directed several one-act plays.
Debbie’s passion for writing and curiosity about many topics propelled her into a solid career. As a single mom, she worked as a fulltime corporate copywriter while authoring books and maintaining a resume business on the side. During this time, she also served freelance clients, studying and learning firsthand the A,B,Cs of running a home-based business.
Through the years, Debbie has met people who had the desire to start businesses revolving around their hobbies, skills, interests and talents, but didn’t know how or where to begin. In researching this topic, Debbie discovered that there were numerous entrepreneurs starting businesses of all types, doing what they loved.
