Dr. Houston Crenshaw arrived at his office at 8:00 a.m. to enjoy his coffee and the mail that
he did not engage the day before. He
checked his calendar and adjusted his tie.
At that moment, there was a knock at his office door. He was reviewing Adele Munson’s hospital
reports.
“Come in,” he stated.
Lee walked in with the simply dressed Adele, who had put her
hair up in a bun for the occasion. Hugh
extended his hand to shake the lady’s hand, as they were introduced by Dr.
Thomas. The reports showed promise as
the two women sat to face the esteemed doctor in his initial gaze.
“It really is a pleasure to meet you, sir. I hoped I would deem myself a suitable
candidate for your research and book,” Adele told Dr. Crenshaw.
“You are lovely. You
are so different than the rest of the candidates. May I call you Adele?”
“Please do, Dr. Crenshaw,” she answered with a hospitable
bow of her head.
“Stop treating me as a celebrity. I am your doctor now. We need to see how compatible we actually are
today,” Hugh replied as he dimmed the lights and opened the desk drawer to find
a Hugh crystal piece. He set it on the
desk as Lee barely took a breath.
“Look into the crystal piece. It radiates light and life. We need to search into your life and
soul. It is time to realize that you are
seeking help and we are capable of giving it to you. Relax with the rays of light. Release your energy into its dominion of
praise. Rest and
sleep, Adele. You look very tired
and it is time we shared your experience for us all to learn life’s everlasting lessons. Relax and concentrate in this center of
brilliance. Remember your past and share
it with the souls of those who trust you and want you to trust them,” Dr.
Crenshaw said slowly in an eerie but appeasing appeal to the young woman, who
receptively fell asleep in her chair.
The room was very silent as Dr. Crenshaw pursued.
“Eliza, I am Hugh. We
now begin a long journey into unknown limits but we must first seek into your
own present life. Take us back to your childhood. Let us remember these times with you,” Hugh
instructed in a low voice of direction.
