About the Author
Clarice Lawson Davis was born
She retuned to her native state of West Virginia in 1947, where she was
graduated From High School, later she majored in Journalism at Marshall
University. Her First book of Poetry entitled, “THE MEADOWS”, was published in
1974. Her poetry was selected to appear in AMERICA AT THE MILLENNIUM, also, THE
BEST POEMS & POETS of2000, and entered into The Library Of
Congress.
In Some Part Of Yesterday , is anthology of
other poems she has written. Of the past and of the present
of fond remembrance. As told in poetry. Ms. Davis is writing full time,
and a member of The Academy of American Poets.
She was married to the late Vincent M. Davis, and the mother of three
sons.
