About the Book

A Golf Story is a lifetime of Sunday afternoons on the golf course and a handful childhood memories, friends and events left behind in the uneasy wake of time.  It is a paranormal visit to the past and to a formative time spent on and off the golf course when all things were possible.  A time when the past returns with a story of wonderful legends, heroes and of youth that still haunts my daily life...it is a revisit to that spiritual place where we secretly re-enact the scenes that were and try to bend and reshape them into events that might have been.  Epics that drape the corridors of our subconscious half snagged in the portals to obscurity, never quite resolved to any satisfying state of finality.  Events that we wish we could change and some that we just wish we could return to and “play out” just one more time.  It is a second chance to mend some of the fences, to catch that missed fly ball or make that one putt that might have changed everything for ever. . . and a chance to meet all our heroes of the past.
