About the Book
Trevor Rains is a widower and former Special Forces
captain. Tom Battle, an old college
friend, enlists Trevor’s help in flushing out a killer operating within his
company. Little did Trevor know when he
agreed to help his old friend, that he would be involved in international
espionage, professional hit-men and lethal space environmentalists. He is thrust into a worldwide industrial
conspiracy involving three companies vying to control the world’s space
telecommunications. Battle’s satellite
launch is sabotaged and Battles’ chief engineer is murdered at the launch
site. This ignites an explosive Trevor
into a series of actions, some of which he regrets. Thrown in jail and facing a nickel sentence at Florence State
Prison, he finds out the price is high and so is the ruthlessness by which the
banks and corporations are willing to play.
Trevor finds things more complicated when he falls
for two women in the company who unknowingly have separate agendas. He is torn by his loyalty to one and
attraction to the other, which brings him near the brink of death. Amanda Delcine and Lindsey Walker both have
skeletons in their pasts. Trevor is
shocked at what he finds and torn when he has to reveal it.
