About the Author

Ed Leibowitz has been coaching basketball for over twenty- five years.  He is a former assistant coach at the University of Nevada and Boston University. As head coach at Massachusetts Bay Community College, his nationally ranked teams won over 60 games in 2 seasons. Ed has also won state championships and coach of the year awards at the high school and junior college level while compiling a career winning percentage of over 70% as a head coach.     

Ed is currently coaching basketball at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. He has a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate in Education. He lives in Westfield, NJ with his wife Mindy and sons, Steven and Scott, where they all still play basketball in the driveway.
