About the Book

Surviving the worldly teachings of our society, tradition, and religions is a very hard thing to do, when there are so many of our friends, family, and even churches who hide the truth.

Finding the truths for you and your family can be a very rocky road in the beginning (because of accepting the truth) that will eventually turn into a smooth path to happiness as you strengthen your relationship with the truths of God's words.  Through your works in following his word, you and your offspring will begin a new and peaceful life here on earth as well as in heaven.

In this inspirational novel SURVIVING MY CARNAL UPBRINGING by Charlotte Walker Allen, a young Christian teenager is caught up between his love for God and his ungodly teaching of his elders, friends, and family.  With no earthly person to help guide him through the right path, Marcus finds himself falling into the worldly teaching of his peers and family that will affect him for the rest of his life.  Knowing God, Marcus found his way back to the life that was meant for him, still having the consequences of his past actions, but being able to deal with them because of his forgiveness from God.

About the Author

Charlotte Allen growing up as a young southern teenager stuck in the troubles of today's carnal teachings found herself with the desire to want to help others.  She had a passion to be a social worker.  To help others in the way she needed to be helped.  As a teenager who did not know all the right things herself, she was scared out of her love at the age of twenty-one when she decided to go to college.  Scared out of her love because of the violence in teenagers' in the early nineties.  She found herself going to school for Office Administration and received an Associate Degree in this field that she knew that she did not want to do before she received it.  Through the years she found some comfort in supervising others.  About four years ago Charlotte began to search more than her own knowledge of wrong and right.  She began to search for the truth in God's knowledge.  She found not only the truths that she needed for herself, but the truths that she needed to help others.  Her love began to get stronger and stronger as she found herself shedding many tears for children allover the world whose happiness was being stolen.  Charlotte began to look for the answers as to how things got so bad.  She did a lot of reading God's words and listening to many of God's teachers.  She bought history books to looked for some answers.

What she found was a lot of lies and bad habits that contributed to this destruction of our lives.  At this time she began to have a yearning of her lost love, her passion to help others.  Then she began looking for ways that she could get back in school and finish what she should have done ten years ago.  She struggled with regret that she did not have the courage to do it then.  Then God said to her "You were not ready then." She knew then that she had to get out of this world to help the world.  Now she knows its God's teaching that is what the people need.
