About the Author
Charles Breitweiser literally died from an automobile accident in 1979, as a 17 year old teenager. The quick response medical unit was able to get his heart started. However, after a 6 month coma, he was left with the loss of use in the left side, and damaged eyesight. As with any type of debilitating injury, it was also accompanied by the demons of depression, fear, inferiority, and lack of self-esteem. Combined with the uncertainties of adolescence, led him through serious bouts of depression, self-pity and self-loathing Through years of soul searching and growth, he developed a philosophy of endurance, and positive attitude by learning to disregard his losses and embrace his gains. Mr. Breitweiser began doing motivational speaking for handicapped support groups. Drawing on his personal experience, he teaches people ways to overcome their feelings of inadequacy and teaches them how to love themselves and respect their differences. He also joined the NJ Poetry Society and had a poem published in their annual anthology for 2003. He also does freelance writing for magazines. He has a positive attitude, combined with a self-determination that is virtually unstoppable.
