BLESSINGS OF FELLOWSHIP
A while ago there was a meeting
with a sign up sheet and random seating.
Little did we know we’d be asked to gather
for once a month, for a short time thereafter.
There’s Darrell, Ezra, Mike, Ben, Al and Bill.
We’ve met a long time because of God’s will.
The topics all differ and the Spirit is there.
To me it's no wonder because we all care.
We start with a meal that is always good
then we share our lives the way that we should.
Our ages span five decades but it doesn’t matter,
they intertwine like braids with all of the chatter.
We can be honest about our life’s trials.
The questions are answered by our mind's files.
No one can tell me it wasn’t our fate
because when we meet it always is great.
It’s good to know I can call on a friend
and that our six spirits have God to no end.
Thanks for meetings past
and for the ones yet to come,

About the Book
This is not your average Christian poetry that you are used to reading. It is definitely the father himself whispering straight into my ear, through the Holy Spirit, and he doesn’t pull any punches! Whether you have not yet been saved, are a new Christian, or have known The Father your whole life, I know that you will enjoy it. You will see there I have come from, and what The Father did for me. I also know that you can relate to many or the poems inside. This book will make you look at our lives the way we are used to, and in ways we should be. All praise, glory, and honor to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the indwelt Holy Spirit, and our all loving and corrective Father. Amen!
About the Author
Ben Marion graduated from Glenoak high school in 1980, and joined the U.S. Navy. After an honorable discharge, he went to work for the family roofing business. In 1988, he was baptized at the first Christian church. In October of 2000, he went to a men’s seminar, which resulted in a halt of substance abuse. In April of 2001, after many years of roofing, he had to have nine surgeries. Then the unexpected happened. God started pouring out Christian poetry through him. Although he had written in the past, this was different. The spirit’s urging wouldn’t stop, and still hasn’t. His credentials as an author? This is what he has to say. 99% God, Jesus and Spirit, and only one tenth him!
