About the Book
During my years of working with the mentally ill, hearing
their stories about life and disappointments, I found myself wanting to express
uplifting thoughts to them. That no
matter how high the mountain or deep the valley, they are not alone. If they just have faith in God, trust and
believe in Him through prayer, things will change. The poems written by me
was placed on a reality board for them to read with pictures drawn by a
friend. What is so amazing to me is that
no matter how sick they were most would stop to look at and read the
poems. Not only did the patients read
them but staff and visitors would also.
They encouraged me to continue to write and share my poems. I stayed with it and now, praise God, I have been blessed with this book.
