About the Book
In the poetry of Time Dance, Janet Chaniot explores the period and setting of her birth: Midwestern United States of America in the middle of the 20th Century. Like Thornton Wilder''s Emily of "Our Town", she is gifted with a sense of the sacred and the complex joys and challenges of family. She writes puzzle pieces of her story of loving, of learning, of teaching, of travel, and of looking to the past and future for "the world in a grain of sand". Wondering and wandering to the farthest reaches of the universe, she invites her readers to journey with her and, in sharing a part of her, to find themselves.
