My Words

This book is “personal”, those who have walked in the author’s shoes will, without a doubt relate to what she has written. It is a personal view on addictions, relationships, arguments, temptations, depression, slamming doors, reaching out, Holidays, health insurance….and just plain life. She writes about how LIFE gets in the way of LIVING. “My Words” is about the author’s personal experiences with life, and people around her. Those who read this book will feel what the author feels, and understand her need to talk to people through her written words.

Rose Knight was born 1949, in Brooklyn, and grew up on Long Island. Before she could write she told stories of how things should be, or how people should be. When she learned how to write she would write the words that others refused to listen to, then she realized she could put those words in poem like fashion. She would often write what she thought needed to be said and sent it off to those she thought needed to read it. Ms. Knight is the mother of three, grandmother of five, resides in Bay Shore, Long Island, and is still writing to get through to people in her “words”.
