From a husband of the Black race
Who could not keep the pace
Marriage again
Is very slim
A diabolical win

My name is Gracie Jones
I have to guard my tone
This is what I am told
As I unfold
I am a mediator
I married a year ago
Any cheers to hear before I go
Last,
My name is Marvin Tools
I drive a Greyhound Bus
So many people travel
Keeping up fuss
There are ten people in the room
Any more volunteers
All remaining shake their heads (no)
As they drink beers
HUMANITY
Why me
Why me
Is it the color of my eyes
The way I smile
Laughter you hear
To near
Question to ask
When you sense jealousy
That develops a false humanity
Why not you
You laugh to
Your smile shines
All the time
Answers to give
When people are not ‘for’ real
Creating self-preservation
And longer years
Why anyone
That has begun
To enjoy life
Beauty is seen
A process of the well-being
In which all is known
Through the perspective of love
That has grown
Why not laugh
As well as smile
