Treasures In The Valley

TREASURES IN THE VALLEY

There are treasures in the valley, this I’ve come to see.
There are jewels formed from the fire I thought
afflicted me.

Passing through the darkness, I learned that I must rest
in His faithful promise no matter what  the test.

God’s strength is abundant, His arms embrace this child,
even in the valley He tempers every trial.

Jesus is the bridge over water that is too deep. 
He is the one who carries me up hills that are too steep.

He’s given pearls of wisdom and golden truths to me,
treasures in the valley, this I’ve come to see.

The storms in life don’t frighten me the way they used to
do, because I trust my Father to safely bring me through.
