About the Book

Phenom is the story of Mike "Sparky" Rosen.  A young second baseman in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, Rosen is often brash, irreverent,  and politically incorrect, but he can play baseball.  And if you don't believe it, just ask him.  In Phenom, Rosen tells his own story in a personal journal that covers a year in his life from spring training to the end of the season and beyond.

Rosen's story is often humorous, often touching, but always entertaining for baseball fans and non-fans alike.

If you are tired of always reading the same old story in a sports novel, then try Phenom.  You'll be glad you did.
