Preaching is as ancient a profession as the world is old.  For countless years, humanity has been inspired of God to speak on His behalf.  This, in and of itself is a bold and awe-striking statement and duty.  A duty and responsibility that the author, Rev. Dr. Kevin W. H. Lewis, takes most seriously.  This book does not attempt to teach the art of preaching.  This book only attempts to share these gems of ecclesiastical brilliance as given to this man of God.  These sermons are a cross-section in content and style, and will serve as a valuable resource for years to come for all who share them.  They are relevant for the times and speak to the needs of people from all walks of life.

Kevin W. H. Lewis is the Founder and Pastor of the New Life Christian Church of Poughkeepsie, New York.  A third generation Pastor called of God.  He is considered to be one of the leading authorities on preaching today.  Very quietly teaching and preaching across the country.  A graduate of the University of Massachusetts (BS in Sociology), Livingstone College, Salisbury, NC (BSW), Hood Theological Seminary, Salisbury, NC (M. Div.) and Saint Paul’s Bible College and Seminary (D. Min.)  He is the recipient of several Honorary Degrees from various Institutions of Higher Learning.

Dr. Lewis a former Adjunct Professor of Preaching and Public Worship.  He currently serves on the Faculty of Hudson Valley / New Life Bible Institute (A satellite of Oral Roberts University).  He is Editor of the monthly periodical “Wings” and author of the outstanding text “Christian Doctrine; What Every Christian Ought To believe.”  He has authored many articles to include, “Building a Better Tomorrow.”  An article acclaimed as one of the most inspiring, dealing with race relations from a Christian perspective.

Dr. Lewis is a seasoned preacher and Pastor of thirty years.  He has dedicated his life to serving God and the church.  He currently resides in Poughkeepsie, New York and still travels the country Preaching the Word of God.
